99% of Americans is a political movement for all Americans whose income is below the top 1%.

Our mission: To develop a political agenda based on the economic interests of 99% of Americans – especially where they conflict with the top 1% – and to support candidates who will enact, execute, and uphold that agenda.

The top 1% is composed of households that take in over about $400,000 a year. They currently siphon off over 20% of all income, up from only about 7% in the 1960s, and 10% just a decade ago. 99% of Americans intend to reverse this trend.

Those in the top 1% can also join, provided they agree the economic needs of the 99% who aren’t should trump their own.

If you join, your name and email address will not be revealed to anyone without your permission. You will not be spammed with fundraising emails as some other political sites do.
